Despite his whimsical speaking skills, he's actually quite an intelligent man. As far as better off, I sincerely doubt it since the retirement for presidents is one sweet package!

EVERY president would be better off personally if he hadn't been elected. This job takes a tremendous toll on a man. These men don't age 4 years' worth in 4 years' time: they age 6-8 years' worth for every 4 years they are in office, whether people like them or not.

Perhaps it would be better to have a do nothing president as was his predecessor. His main claim to fame (or infamy) was his releasing so many convicts at the last minute of his tour.

He seems to be handling the stress quite well. He is extremely confident that he is doing the right thing. I don'y think he would be better off.
