I've been told a million times that glasses don't make your eyesight worse, but I swear they do. I never wore my glasses and when I got a checkup, my eye sight was better than before. Then I started wearing them constantly, and my sight has gotten way worse.

every set of glasses or contacts is different as each set of eyes are different.

you need to follow the EXACT guidelines set forth by your eye doctor. also its common to have your glasses reground every year or so. going 3 years w/ the exact same prescription might be part of the problem.

I wore glasses as a kid....I wore them when I was suppose to and by high school I no longer needed them. But at 22 I had issues again so I got another pair. After just a year I was able to put those in the drawer as well.

Since the, 15 yrs, I have gone without glasses and have 20/20 vision. My job even pushes my eyes to extremes due to closeness of work, lights, monitors and still no need for glasses.

If you follow the doctors exact guidelines....you will wear them less in life....to not follow his orders.....normally ends up as a lifetime of wearing glasses.

Neither. Glasses don't make your eyesight better or worse. They just allow you to see beter. If you want to improve your eyesight, you should get corrective contact lenses (kind of expensive). Depending on the shape of your cornea, your eyesight will slowly get worse (which is why most people get new glasses after 3 or 4 years).

Nope. Its an illustration you elect you get your eyes checked and modify the glasses. possibly the unique prescription develop into no longer completely suited and now it extremely desires yet another try. And basically incase you're questioning then its now no longer considered a fable that carrots help eye sight - so devour a section on a daily basis one way or yet another and advance up on different veg.

it depends-if you have the correct prescription, then you are weakening your eyes in the sense that they are conditioned to be able to see with little effort through your glasses. however, the alternative would be straining to be able to see, depending on how bad your vision is.
If your prescription is off, then you are harming your eyes in the worse way, because not only are your eyes becoming conditioned, they are becoming conditioned through the wrong type of lenses. This can cause your vision to worsen dramatically. It just depends which of these two is your situation.

not wearing glasses is what makes your vision worse because it stresses your eyes more. it all depends upon what sort of vision problems you have. you should talk to your eye doctor & if you need them all the time, look into contacts.

glasses correct your vision. They do not fix your eyes. It is believed that your vision will get worse either way. (with or without)
