I know allot of you would say Brazil. But clearly that is untrue , there was 4 european teams in the semi finals of the world cup , Brazil struggled against Australia , and even tiny little Wales made them look average for most of their match , intill giggs , bale and all them went off.

Depends on your defination of greatest team on Earth ,the ,most successful nat teams overall is Brazil followed by Italy ,both have won 5 World cups but Brazil has on more trophies overall after that it is Germany .Club wise you cannot say as there is no world club league to determine the best.In Europe Real Madrid have won the Euro cup in all it's guises 6 times (I think) and Milan and Liverpool have won it 5 or 6 times each so I guess they are the most successfull Euro teams .Don't know about South America or Africa but you would have to go by a similar critrour i.e who has won the most nations cups or inter continetal club trophies to determine the best.

I would definitely say Portugal. Just because teams like Brazil have won the most WCs, doesn't mean that they're the best team.

Italy is the best so far. Soccer is set up in a way that competitions are four years away from each other. It's hard to tell which is the best team because players can change frequently. Overall, the best team has to be Brazil with PELE and all, but I Love ITALIA!!
