I have a friend who works at a talent agency and she gave me the phone number to a few of my favorite celebrities. I have the home or/and cell number for Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton. Do you think I should call and make up a lie that I work in the industry and wanna hang out sometime? Afterall, I can't get fired cuz I don't work in the industry and I'll never reveal how I got their numbers.

What would you do if you had the phone number to your favorite singer or mentor?

For those of you debating whether or not these numbers are real, I have no doubt they are real and if you knew the agency in which she works, you'll be absolutely certain they are real. Also, she calls them sometimes for business-related matter on behalf of the agent she works for to talk about publicity-related stuff. I don't want to stalk them. I've seen them in person a few times at parties my friends take me, but there they are always surrounded by guards and it's impossible to reach them. The most you can do is look at them a few feet away but they are always being swayed back and forth from one person to the next so it's hard to carry on a conversation. That's why I thought it'll be easier to get them on the phone. Of course I want my friend to have her job, so I won't mention which agency or who I got them from to anyone and it really does not matter. What matters is that I have the numbers, I just graduated college and I have some free time to hangout and get to know.

Wow good question... If I knew it was a legit number... I would probably not call. All the celebrities I like, im basically obsessed with and I wouldnt want to have them put a restraining order or something on me... lol

But that is a pretty good excuse you have, so I would call. Tell they you work for the talent agency your friend works at!

I HAVE information like this of some - those that I'm friends with. What do I do with it? Nothing. If you're smart, you'll do the same.

I have a musician friend who has had to change his number sixteen times in the last ten years because people kept getting it. Turns out it was some twit at his manager's office giving it to her friends. Long story short, not only was she fired, but she was sued by her boss for breach of contract because she knew she had access to privledged information and wasn't supposed to share it. If your friend is that stupid, I hope the same happens to her.

I have to say that your friend was in the wrong and if it got out that she gave you those numbers she would really lose her job.
Now yahoo and the whole world that comes on this site knows that your friend gave you the numbers. NOT GOOD GUY
Celebrities have a right to privacy too.
I wouldn't want someone from my work giving out my phone number without my permission to someone I didn't know.
PS. I would want to call but I wouldn't.

Don't you think if Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera or Paris Hilton wanted to hang with you ...THEY WOULD CALL YOU?? ...and no, no lies. That's never a good idea.

Their numbers are typically only given out to people they want to have access to them. Newer phones allow them to block incoming calls from numbers they don't know, and don't forget, callerID will let them identify you regardless of what you say (so use a payphone).

Cell and home numbers for celebs get posted all the time - which is why they change them on a regular basis.

"Hanging-Out" is not likely a valid reason - if you REALLY want to meet one of them, go out on a limb and be honest who you are and tell them you really want to meet them. They will likely still change their number, but you may get your shot to meet them, and not be thought of as a STALKER.

Good luck!

You did reveal how you got the phone numbers and I think talent agencies would have some sort of privacy policy could get your friend fired.

Do you remember when everyone around the world had had access to Paris Hilton's telephone directory? I'm sure some fans kept those numbers.
