I would like to have the best test scores and g.p.a to shut this girl's mouth since she thinks she's better than everyone and brags forever(but kinda hot!). And does that me pathetic or a desperate geek? But I still want really good grades.

Do you want good grades for the sake of good grades or to compete against this hot girl. Competing with her because she is kinda hot may backfire as she will consider you the competition only.
Getting the good grades for their sake is worth while. Grades do represent how well you are learning a subject and show you where you need to improve. They also open doors for you in future life and make it easier for you to adapt to changes since good grades are obtained by people who have learned how to learn, the most important skill you will get in school.

Wanting good grades doesn't make you a geek. If some guy were bragging about how great he was at something, I'd want to show HIM up, too.

1st note the point given by others& don't think that girl as ur competeter.just leave what she does & see whether u r interested.if u hav interest ,concentration and aim u will surely succeed.dont waste time. aim at achieving something great and repeat it often to urself.if u turn ur anger into a decirable aim that makes u flourish
