My husband and I live in a town that has a gang problem. We wonder if it any better of worst than other towns this size.

Thats right own my alley... ya 6 gangs is a bit too much, but it depends on the race of the gangs, email me, and I can tell you what gang is what, and who's doing what?

Any is too many. I live in a town of 2500, and we have thugs on the four corners every night, but you can still walk on the streets at night, and I've never had to lock my door. (Of-course, I have nothing worth steeling, even this computer is the most expensive thing in my house and already out of date.)

if they are real gangs committing real crimes, yes.
if they are just informal groups of kids hanging out and skateboarding, no.
