Let's see.....they continually slime Kerry...the smeared Max Cleland (lost 3 limbs in Vietnam)....the smeared McCain (Bush and Rove really screwed him over in SC back in 2000)....they smear Wesley Clark....

Why do these clowns operate like this? Could it be jelousy because they were cowards when they could have served?

This is what I find most amazing about the people who back these guys. Most would never dream of fighting for their country. My father fought bravely in WWII and this drives him crazy. He wouldn't be what they call a liberal. Wait - I guess they would if he disagreed with anything they say. I saw a video of Bush down in Georgia trashing a decorated Vet (I think it was Cleland). Bush avoided the war like the plague. Then they have the unbelievable nerve to try to label who the patriots are. Truly sickening. Now I'm getting pissed again.
Don't even mention Carl Rove. That guy has done more damage to this country than anyone I can think of. He has damaged the political process for years to come. Any real patriot should punch him in the face. Okay I'm a little pissed.
If you actually dig into how these slime balls operate you just get sick to think anyone would have the sightest respect for this administration. Do some research on these smear campaigns. Be open minded when you do.

It's not good for political system to smear anyone. If there is something about a person that would effect their political performance, then maybe every one should know, as long as it is the truth and not taken out of context. To just tell bad things about someone an it's not wholly truthful is just because you don't agree with them is wrong.

It is politics as usual. Having a record as a war hero is a strong endorsement of a person; discrediting that record is seen as an appropriate tactic by some people.

That's the way the Repubs operate. Karl Rove came up with that lowdown technique. Let's hope it no longer works.

I wouldn't say jealousy, more a distraction from the fact that they didn't serve as the other brave men you listed did.
