i have started sewing again. and all my family loves the items i make and i was wondering if people actually would buy home made pillows, quilts, bags, and curtains, etc. do people really like home made items? would they sell?

If you check on eBay, you may discover that most of these items sell for less than the cost of materials. Think about where and how you will sell them before you invest too much time or money in creating products.

I've started making bags using fur &other raw materials from my 7nth standard onwards.I will make Flowers with clothes and also bouquets.If any functions were conducted I can earn more money by giving this and also selling this.I also do Fabric Paints on my dress,My mothers saree,My relatives dress,My neighbours etc...
This is my part of school life & my hobby, as well as it's also my job.

yes people like homemade stuff. i make crocheted potholders, animals and afghans and people buy them from me, to my amazement... get ur feet wet by trying to sell them at local craft shows through schools and churches and then if u want to turn it into a job go on ebay. talk to ur local craft stores about craft shows in ur area or watch ur newspaper in the local section or sometimes it is in the yard sale section. don't know why, just found out recently in my area that they do that. good luck.
