Ladies, when you allow a close male friend to hold you when you were extremely upset,is it considered being intimate or is it just a friend comforting a friend? Please help I'm really confused...

Could be either one -- or both. If she was upset about another guy it was probably definetly both. Women are very complex creatures. We are intensely emotional and very much driven by feelings and intimacy. If she was just upset about a bad day or something like that then it seems more likely that she would just be looking for comfort. But when a woman is upset about something close to her heart it is very likely that she would be looking for a deeper level of comfort...i.e. intimacy from a man.
It is really hard to say.
I would just talk to her....but without making her feel pressured. It is always best to be open with each other.
Good luck.
:)

I'm really sorry to tell u this but it is comforting a friend. She is upset and needs someone to hold her. This is because she feels comfortable coming to u.But that is all it is....If u want more then talk with her when she is over this.Good luck
