Air leak is most likely the power brake booster leaking some when you push the pedal. However that shouldn't cause the pedal to go to the floor. If you are not leaking any fluid at all then air in the system has to be suspect. Master cylinder can cause this as on the upstroke when it is old and worn can suck in air on each stroke. Will get to where you can't pump the brakes up enough. Try bleeding them and that might get them back to normal for a spell. If you remove the master cylinder from the brake booster (usually only those 2 bolts) then you can see if there is any brake fluid leaking there. Doesn't take much to let air in. Sometimes can see it dripping down the front of the brake booster itself. Had two of these truck s over the years and ate master cylinders. Never had troubles with the calipers though.

could be several things, master cylinder, brake booster if it has one, but before you jump in on someting like that i would bleed the brakes very well. it almost sounds as though you have a "squishy" brake pedal which could be caused by air in the lines i would recomend a good long gravity bleed.

After you put the vehicle in 2 wheel drive and you are sure your hubs are unlocked, pull forward slowly and have someone look under it and see if the front drive line is turning if it is then your transfer case is not coming out of 4X4 if it is not turning then it probably just a problem with the position sensor on your 4X4 select and I wouldn't worry about it.

o-rings in the master cyclinder might be shot. Replace the master cylinder "if you have no leaks and no air in the lines" it shouldn't cost that much. Get a price quote for the cheapest parts store.

It is either the power booster or master cylinder. Most likely the power booster. they are not too hard to replace. Those are cool trucks by the way.
