That was before immigration laws were established to make people who come here to apply for legal status. Today you got people sneaking over the border and marrying American citizens to cheat their way through the system and act as if what they do is right when we have to protect the interest of the citizens who are natural born here. Every time an illegal immigrant crosses the border into the United States their prescence here causes stress on the financial and legal end of things. They apply for everything from public assistance to financial aid to go to school and some of them have resorted to stealing Social Security information to obtain such stuff illegally. In today's lamen terms if you are not a natural born or legal citizen of the United States you are an ILLEGAL ALIEN.

America is and continues to be built be immigrants and there descendants.....This wonderful nation of multicultured people has been developed over the years by countless immigrants that have labored,mined,planted & harvested throughout this entire great nation.....The USA is a World Country ....all the roads,buildings,damms,railroads, and everything else has been built by Immigrants over the years!!

Yes, in a manner of speaking.
Aside from the Native Americans (Indians), America is a nation comprised of immigrants in one sense or another. Most Americans are descendants from immigrants who came to this land from another contienent (i.e., Europe, Africa). Consequently, this nation has been built by immigrants.
Most, however, are not illegal aliens.

Yeah it's being destroyed by the INVASION of illegals that sponge up the economic growth potential by taking anything they can get. They don't even bother to learn the language and that's why we have to put up Spanish signs and duplicate everything we say in English in Spanish. Why is the government pandering to all these "language lazy" people? They didn't change signs for the Irish, Italian, Polish, German, Russian immigrants that came here "Legally". Everytime I call some company I have to listen to all the Spanish nonsense. What in hell is going on with Hispanics? Can't they get it?

Since the first 13 colonies, where do you think everyone came from ? Not North America, so therefore they are all immigrants or descended from immigrants.
