I THINK IT MUST BE THE CENTER POSITION. BECAUSE YOU ONLY ASK WHAT IS THE HARDEST POSITION IN THE NBA. AND IF YOU WILL BE A CENTER IN THE NBA, YOU CANNOT AVOID BANGING BODY AND BEING CRUSHED BY THE BIGGEST PLAYER IN THE NBA, SHAQUILLE O'NEAL. AND ITS NOT A JOKE, ON TRYING TO BANG BODIES WITH SOMEONE IS AS DOUBLE AS YOUR SIZE. IT IS A DEATH DEFYING STUNT TO TRY TO DEFEND SHAQ!!

I would have to say a Pg because like you said, a PG is basically a leader. SG are usually the team's leading scorer and their main job is to score. SF are nearly the same as SG except they contribute all around better than SGs. (EX. LeBron James, SF and Ray Allen, SG) PF are usually the offensive big man. C are the core of the defense and provide mostly rebounding and blocks. I am a G and its the hardest position usually because of size and height.

Are we talking about the hardest spot to play, or the hardest spot to play well ? In the NBA, I believe the center (especially if your a 6'7-6'9 center) is the hardest spot to play from the standpoint of taking a physical beating. But in terms of the one spot which demands a player have the intellectual ability to "read the floor", lead the team, etc., etc., etc., in combination with the physical skill to be a good passer, free throw shooter., etc., the hardest position in the NBA is PG.

You are right I also believe that Pt. Guard is the hardest because He has to have GREAT court Vision and know where everyone is at all times!!

I would say center would be the toughest. Just for the fact that one night your getting banged around by SHAQ, and then his backup ZO. Yao, Duncan and every other 7ft 250-300pounder.

a center is hardest because who has to try to block carmelos or wades or lebrons dunks they also stop anyone from trying to charge to the middle center thats has to be the hardest position.
