I love Roald Dahl. read almost all his works. But not sure if there's one named Fungus the Bogeyman.

maybe you shall check for Ethel & Ernest.
For FUNGUS THE BOGEYMAN it is difinetely written by Raymond Briggs.

Fungus the Bogeyman still exists for definite - I know because my brother has a copy and I bought it - your problem is you've got the author wrong it wasn't written by Roald Dahl it was written by Raymond Briggs of 'The Snowman' fame. Maybe you could check with e-bay or amazon. I remember it came out when I was in secondry school and was full of gross-out illustrations! Good luck finding it!
