it's going to be a sparkly dress so i'm thinking of a pale/pastel blue or a dark, kinda like indigo but more blue colour. i know dark blue would bring out the sparkles more like the midnight sky. the pastel blue because it's looks innocent and sohpisicated at the same time. a pastel, turquoisy, aqua, blue-ish green, looks good too. what do you think?

I think that you should go with the turquise because i will bring out the sparkeles plus it will show you black hair more.

a pastel color of some sort would look the best like a light green, yellow,pink but personaly my fav. would be a light pastel/baby blue

Turquoise, I know you want blue but with Ur description a garnet or pinkish red color might make U look more beautiful N attract more attention

Most ppl will be going for blacks,blues and whites,,,,,why dont you go for light orange color?? I have the same features as you,,and whenever i wear my light orange dress,,ppl compliment me, even thought its a very simple dress,,i guess the color makes me look good.....DONT wear any dark colors,,there will lots of guys wearing dark color,you dont want to blen in with the guys.you wanna stand out.

I think that red or yellow would look really pretty. Try looking in seventeen or teen people magazines. You may see a dress you'd like in there and you can try to find a similar looking dress.

You'd look nice in a dark colored dress. Maybe a black, dark brown, rich purple, or cranberry red. Or forest green!

Look at the dress while it is on you and in the light you will be in at the prom. Lighting changes the way a color looks on you.

I would choose the aqua-bluish-green becasue it's two colors and it would really bring out your skin and hair and eyes.

dark purple. it looks good on people w/ dark hair and eyes and you will notice the sparkles too. if they dont have that, bright turquoise or red would look cool too=)

maybe you should go for a red.. blue is kinda gay .. well from your description. it seems like red will look very nice on you.. if its blue u will blend in with the darkness.. with red you will stand out..=]
