For a start, most animals don't prey on children.
Ex-Congressman Foley is a pedophile, someone interested in sex with minors, and, if and when he' s convicted will then be a criminal as well. Right now, his behavior is criminal and immoral, and he is the worst kind of hypocrite, sitting on a congressional committee to protect children while trying to hook up sexually with underage pages.
As much as I'm put off by the present administration, Foley's party affiliation has nothing to do with his despicable behavior.

While Foley's actions are indefensible and despicable, technically this is not a "pedophilia" issue (though the Democrats are trying to play it up as one). The page was under the age of consent in the state but over the age that defines pedophilia. Hence, what we have is a homosexual breaking the law and approaching statutory rape.

We saw the same kind of distortion of the facts in the Catholic priest scandals. The victims were almost universally post-pubescent and almost universally male! Hence, the REAL issue -- as "politcally incorrect" as it may be -- was one of homosexual proclivity toward young teenage boys and statutory rate. But by painting it as a "pedophile issue", the media got what they wanted: a chance to villify clergy and the Church without offending that special protected class of people, homosexual activists.

These stories are great examples of political distortion of the facts. The real story that should be examined is the hugely disproportionate number of homosexual men who pursue sex with boys as compared to the general population.

I'll bet this post inflames a lot of people and makes a lot of people uneasy because it's contrary to their years indoctrination. The truth often has this effect.

At least they're not calling the brave people in the armed services stupid like Hanoi John did. Foly may be gay and maybe guilty of sending explicit e-mails BUT KERRY IS A FREAKIN' TRAITOR AND HE PROVES IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. i am sure we all realize that party has nothing to do with people individually. we cannot blame the republicans as a whole on the actions of a few. it is like saying that all in a racial group are responsible for the actions of a few or saying all Muslims are terrorist when that is not true.
