Whats with a lot of country songs having the place Cheyenne in it?

I just noticed that! Some of the songs are by different artists too and they still have reference or are all about Cheyenne. Where is that?! and Why is that? :) Please and thank you.

Cheyenne, Wyoming is in the West, and Country Western music favors that region. Also, it's where a lot of Rodeos are, and cowboys dig that.

It's in Wyoming, it's a big place for rodeos, on of the biggest in the U.S. is held there.
