i posted a question about whether i should get an attorney or not for an automobile accident. one of the responses was rather harsh. if the person had read the question, it was that i did not really want to get an attorney and add to all the lawsuits in the world. however, my x-rays show that i have a reversal of a normal lordosis. they said this would not resolve itself without therapy.
i am not trying to run up a bill, i have not spoken to an attorney yet. my own personal physician and the hospital i went to were the ones to suggest therapy.
this stuff really hurts. can't drive right now etc.
so i would hope someone would read the whole message before deciding i am out for an insurance boon.
p.s the driver was also cited for dui abuse. i was just an innocent victim.

The only Answer that you can post a comment directly about is the Best Answer (as voted by you or, in the absence of your vote, by the Yahoo Answers community). Speaking of which, don't forget to vote this Answer as Best. :)

That being said, you can always edit your question and therein address the offensive response.

My advice is to simply not to get sucked into a flame war. Nobody on the board knows who you are anyway so what does it really matter?

If it still bothers you, and the Answer is actually objectively offensive and an obvious flame, then Report it using the little flag icon. That can help get it removed.

Regards,
Rob

P.S. As for helping to deal with physical discomfort, I've had good results with magnetic products (no side effects like drugs, and a great inexepensive adjunt to therapy that can help accelerate the results). I have a friend who went through a ton of chiro etc and finally got relief from a magnetic back pad. Just don't waste money on the knock-offs out there. You can e-mail me if you want specific recommendations.

I would definitely talk to the other person's insurance company before getting a lawyer. Many times, one is not necessary. Call them and see what they say. You never know, it may turn out they will pay your bills and therapy without much hassle. If they won't, then an attorney is in order. Every insurance company is different.
You will have to learn to ignore the rude people here. There are a lot of people like the first poster on your last question. Don't worry about them. Just enjoy the forum and report the people who are way out of line. Click on the flag next to their name, like the previous poster instructed.

Andie-You are new to these boards so you probably are not used to the rude responses you are going to get. I read your other question and the snotty first response you got is typical of this board. There is no way to answer her directly without selecting her as best answer. Sorry about that.

She did not read your question, she probably doesn't care but she did not violate any of the policies of the board as far as I can tell. What you can do is click on the button to report her as being abusive and let Yahoo! decide. That's all you can do.
