If the united states says yes and the other country says yes, then she has the right, I guess the ethical question is when there are 100,000 kids in this country who have no parents, why would she not start here ???

This is a stupid argument! Why should some homeless kid have to "wait in line" to get parents, just because you resent Madonna's wealth? If she can get ONE kid out of poverty and disease faster, then let her do it! Besides, we routinely let total jerks, w/NO interest in kids adopt, just to say they have kids! many of those end up thrown away into the foster system. Why should THOSE people get preferred treatment over Madonna? What's your beef, anyway?

yes, why not? the child will be raised in a stable familly..I believe Madonna and her husband have been married over 6 years...she claims to have done the adoption prodecure just like anyone else...I am sure she didn´t just go to the country and choose a baby...

I THINK THE CHILD WILL BE BETTER OFF HERE. I ALSO THINK BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT TO HER HEAVENLY FATHER, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THIS CHILD TURNED OUT TO BE A DISAPPOINTMENT TO HER BY TURNING INTO A CATHOLIC LATER IN LIFE. (sorry about the caps -- had the cap lock on and didn't know it.) I don't know about right but, better for the child, yes.

Are you in possession of all the facts in this case? Are you aware of every step that she took? And how long it took?

If not, don't assume that she didn't "wait in line."

if the result is a child living a healthy safe educated lifestyle who cares what red tape is cut to do it?

when you have the money it seems that you can buy your way into just about anything, but I still think that she should have to wait just like everyone else
