First mistake was telling them anything. You should have been completely silent. But since you have confessed and are paying them back you can include this in your defense. The key is to work your a** off and pay them back regularly and with a large amount. (i.e. $100 a week). Get a lawyer though, he can make this go a lot better for you.

That's pretty serious. It depends on how you were forced to do it, if your life or the life of your loved ones depended on you doing this and if there was no possible way that you could call or get help/police to get you out...then you would get off. You would be said to have been under duress.

It sounds like it wasn't something so life-threatning, and you confessed to doing it.Your chances are not good, it's one of those offences were you DON'T just get "slapped on the wrist." You propbably would have kept doing it if you didn't get caught.

Even if it's your first time, you would most likely serve some time...thank goodness you confessed to around $1000! It would be different if you confessed to over $5000...

Maybe you'll be looking at months rather than years.

You committed a felony and you admitted to it. You should be punished for it and you will be. You can't expect to commit a felony and just walk away. This will teach you not to do it again. I hope that you've learned your lesson.

That is a federal crime. You'll most likely have to do atleast one year in a federal prison. Not to mention several fines.

Dude...get a lawyer, don't do another thing until you have one.
