Depending on what happens in the Paris tournament, Blake might not even make the Masters Cup. If Haas wins in Paris, he's in and James is out.
I'd say Nalbandian will make the final again. He's definitely a sleeper-type player who is a good match-up in Federer's game. Nadal hasn't had much match play recently so he could be rusty (same thing with Roddick).
Nalbandian could de-throne Fed in the final again like last year. You never know!

It may well depend on who's in which group for the round robin. There's a knock against almost everyone. Roddick has reduced the bad losses but isn't bagging good wins; Blake can get there but had better not get caught deep in a deciding set; Nadal has to overcome there finally being a book on him. The format favours Nalbandian, but he may be more dependent than anyone on drawing the right RR opponents. And it so often comes down to a question of health - how many will drop out may be a better question. Wasn't Nalbandian an alternate last year?

I wish it would be either James Blake or Rafael Nadal but Nalbandian could be a force or maybe even Roddick, who knows?

I think it might be Rafael Nadal or Nykolay Davydenko. Any of these two, especially Nadal, will give invincible Federer quite a challenge.

i think its gonna be davydenko cos he is in really good form.
roddick is pretty inconsistent at the moment and nadal has been losing to very ordinary players recently.though i really hope nadal gets to the final and defeats federer cos he is my favourite player

Does it matter? He'll still win. I hate it the way he dominates the game now. Mens tennis just isnt good anymore. I think hes going to damage the game, in that it will drive teenagers and kids away from tennis, its certainly doing that to me.
