The green power ring… I am not sure about the context of the ring. If you set up the context of giving her the ring in a way that has sentimental value she will adore it even more than a diamond ring. It all depends on the meaning both of you place on the object and how it represents both of you not just you or her. If she is a fan of the power rangers (think that is where the green power ring comes from) than she may have sentimental attachment to the symbol as well. I hope you get the idea. Hear/ listen to yourself why you want to give her the ring. Than ask does it have the same meaning to her? Next ask the big question what you are saying about the both of you are you making a commitment. I think it’s no joke some of the respondents think because it is a “toy” it can’t have meaning. Obviously they never seen collectables everyone place a value on something different than the next person. Good luck and God bless you.

Yes, buy her an engagement ring then give her the green power ring ok. You must show her you are serious about her and although you love the green lantern and might want to be him let her know you will be the man that will love her more than any thing in the world.

haha! now that is a question worth answering! now since i am a woman i can give you good advice! Do Not Give Her Ur Green Power Ring As An Engagement Ring! i mean c'mon, that is not very smart, a girl wants everything to be special! okay, just it doesn't have to be the best ring ever, but it should not be a green power ring, try to impress her with something cute, it doesn't have to be fancy or expensive, just something to show u love her okay! good luck!

1st of all what is a green power ring? 2nd...if it means enough to you, maybe it will mean that much to her. But on the other hand, women love diamonds. I'd just get her a diamond. Maybe you can give her the "green ring" as a temporary engagement ring till you get the real thing.

Does she likes superheroes?? if she does then no, but buy her a real ring too... if she ilikes the green lantern get her a real ring with the shape of the green lantern ring.
If not it might be a good joke, give her the power ring, and then give her the real ring

Does it mean as much to her as it does to you? Has she asked to wear it before? For me it's not about the ring, it's about the commitment it represents. I got married with a $20 ring, and I wear it to this day. Someday we would like to get nicer rings, but there are more important things in our life right now.

If you are serious..... I think it totally depends on her personality and your relationship. hopefully you should know her well enough to know what she would do or you should not be asking her to marry you. I know some girls who would be heart broken while others would think it is romantic and funny. My husband did this to me and it was the sweetest thing ever. We were young and poor and he gave me a twist tie.I still love him and I will never forget it. (I have a small pretty ring now) But what I wonder is what is important? an expensive ring? or your feelings for someone?
