No, if you have a valid passport, you can enter/leave Mexico unattended. Depending on how many years short of 18 you happen to be however, you may get questioned as to your intentions. If you don't have a "good" reason, you could be detained and/or turned-back. If you're planning to go by yourself - you really shouldn't - go with friends. A minor crossing the border by themselves is just a recipe for trouble.
If you're going with friends to party (which of course you're not likely to do, right?), be certain you're in decent shape before you return to the US. Immigration can detain you, and even contact your parents before releasing you and allowing entry back.
If you're not a US citizen, you will need to obtain a visa - and if you're not 18, you'll need parental approval.
Good luck!

do you mean you have a visa for Mexico?
Anyway, if you are minor, you'll need an adult accompany.
If you are a USA citizen, you won't need a passport yet. You can go to Mexico or Canada without passport till January next year, and it might will get another extension.

Are you stupid?
You don't get a passport TO Mexico, you get a passport which allows you to go into ALMOST any country, not just a specific one.
