Well, if I used common sense, I would have to say that unemployment made it hard for black men to raise a family, they couldn't afford adequate housing for their family, and they couldn't vote to change their situation.

Last time I checked, if you dont have a place to sleep a job to work, or the right to democratically make your liife better, society's basically treating you like s***.
