I have an "innie"
I think it has to do with how your mother took care of it when you were newborn, but it doesn't mean that it was bad.
I put a soft-cloth belt on my daughter after her cord fell off and she has an "innie" too

I have an innie,having an outie is fine, it's just how you were born,if you hate it,you can get it fixed.It's nothing to be embarresed about!
