This isn't a partisan issue so just calm down. Diebold is not evil. This is just an unwise way to go about voting.
I am a conservative Republican and I agree with you.
I don't think that these computers are easily hacked but I do think they screw up a lot. Or the people operating them do.
A voting machine should never have to be plugged in.
I like the old mechanical ones. They are cheat proof and last 50 years.

Isn't your system badly enough flawed with hanging chads and whatever that you need to turn it over to for profit corporations?
Not saying that ours is any better, but if the people can't establish an electoral system with its own checks and safeguards then maybe it's time to call in International Observers, just like we send to other countries.
