I'm trying to be friends with this kid named Ricky at my school. (p.s. I'm a girl) I've been wanting to be his friend for a while but I never seem to get the right oppertunity to become his friend. I try to just say a little something to im everyday since a couple days ago when we were assined to sit next to each other, but later the teacher changed all the seats around, and now it's really hard for me. What can I say and how can I just approach him confiendtly and cool like and not say something stupid? I REALLY want to be his friend!!!! Please- advise

Get a group of your friends to do something, like go to the movies and ask him to join up with you. Be a little vague about the details so you have to get his phone number to go over the plans. You could also ask him to meet you at the library to study. Or, just give him your phone number and IM and ask him to give you a call some time. Be really cool and casual about it though.

If you really want to be this guys friend then just be yourself. Go over to him and ask him a question that will start a conversation like for example "don't you think that test was hard?" also try and make him feel comfortable with you, sit with him at lunch, if you do group work ask to be his partner, if your friends with one of his friends maybe hang around your friend when their around him, and also ,my last advice that is the most important is don't be to clingy, talk to him for awhile but if he looks bored or leaves take that as a cue for you to do the same. Don't try to be his friend so much that you actually annoy him and don't lose your friends you have in the present.
Good Luck.

Ask the teacher to switch the seats again. If that won't work, follow him to his locker and ask him questions (academic, personal, whatever). Invite him to hang out sometime. Don't be bashful!

Gurl it sounds to me that you don't only want to be his friend. But I mean if you want to be his friend just take a deep breath and talk to him, just a casual conversation, and then see where it goes from there.
