I used an OPK and according to it I ovulated 7 days ago. My period is due today and hasn't shown up yet. If we got pregnant this time, wouldn't it be too early to test? Implantation would be happening or just completed, right?

For ovulation time I would trust the OPK over your calendar. Even for people who usually have regular cycles, you can get thrown off one month. You should have ovulated about 12-36 hours after you got a + OPK. You should expect your period in 12-16 days from the day of ovulation.

I think it's too early to test. I would wait one more week.

P.S. Correct, implantation happens about 7-10 days after ovulation.

Are you aware thay either your OPK was incorrect or your body works in a very rare way. Seeing as most women ovulate ABOUT 14 days after the FIRST day of their last period (not all, so it's a possibility of course), and that most women get their period as early as 21 days after their last or about 28 days after their last, it seems almost impossible that you could ovulate only 7 days before your next period should arrive. I think there is most likely an error here...Answering your question is tricky because a HPT should be accurate the day you miss your period, in other words, it should be accurate 12-14 days after ovulation and conception. Implantation would be happening or just about to in your case, but implantation usually also occurs about 2 weeks before you r next period is expected.

It could but I would wait it out at least a week then test, plus the fact that you ovulated so close to you coming period I would say your period might be off a bit. Usually a period comes 11 to 14 days after ovulation so if you have gotten it by next week I would check

Some pregnancy tests show up as early as 4 days before your missed period...Good luck.

It's too soon, and you would have incorrect results.
