I think that Bush should be impeached. But, then I think... What about Cheney? He wouldn't be any better. So, what if you got rid of both of them? Isn't the Speaker of the House Republican? We can't have anymore Republicans as president! But we can't have 2 more years of Bush... (it's 2 years, right?) Who comes after the Speaker of the House? Does anyone know? If so, who is it? Is he/she Republican?

Bush needs to be impeached, as does Cheney and the majority of the Bush cabinet. He should resign in disgrace and let a more competent centrist person take office.

What a well thought out question. Because suddenly impeaching the president...and then the VP...and possibly the Speaker of the House....while there is a WAR going on...is just what America needs, right now. I don't think we have enough trouble, so let's show the world just how FXXXD up we really are!!

Impeachment costs money. It costs legislative time. It drains the congress of carrying out its duly elected duties, as well as the Supreme Court of deciding the cases that should be heard. Let's not waste our precious resources, just because we don't like someone. There are better ways of countering an unpopular President than that. When those opposed to the current Executive are in power, they will control the Treasury. That is the number one way to stop him dead in his tracks. Not by throwing money away, needlessly.

I love Republicans!!! They are too liberal though. Todays Republicans are more like Dems of 30 years ago. Today's Dems are Socialists!

The stock market is at its highest level ever!
Unemployment is at record lows!
Home ownership at all time highs!
Minorities are more succesful today, than ever before!
Not one terrorist attack on our soil since 911!
Corporate tax revenues are at all time high levels!
The deficit is falling AND FAST!
Things are going great, with the exception of possibly Iraq. I am glad we are there. What a brilliant idea to have a military force in the middle of it all over there. Brilliant!
As far as Iraq goes, they signed a treaty in 1992, stating if they violated only one (1) of the provisions, we could invade them at anytime. They violated seventeen (17) of them. We had legal right and an obligation to go over there.
WMD'S were not a requirement. The same Dems who now said the president lied, saw the SAME exact evidence and agreed with Bush and most of them voted to go to war with Iraq. Now because of politics they say they were misled!
The liars are the hypocrite Democrats.
These Democrats will raise our taxes, they will take away more of our money. If you are a Socialist who wants to steal money from most Americans to give away to uneducated losers, so more of them will vote Dem, go for it. The Dems want to give American lawyers to terrorists, go for it.
Democrats are dangerous pro terrorist, Anti American purveyors of weakness!

As much as I detest that corrupt megalomaniac, PLEASE don't let him be impeached. Six years under Bush has been horrible but then to have two more under slimy Dick Cheney is like trading a headache for an upset stomach.

It is time to clean house and not just the white house but all of Congress. The whole system is corrupt and the idea of our country being a democracy is a farce. Our founding fathers would have called for another revolution by now.

I agree that impeachment proceedings should be started by the congress. However, I think he should be tried by the war crimes tribunal. It will drag on for years, but the International court will hold more weight and punishment, and will begin to make our standing in the world community more honorable, since we would be cleaning our own house first.

NO, then we're stuck with the old draft dodger Dick. There are things that need doing or undoing and congress needs to work on that rather than crap like an impeachment.
