Isn't it such a shame when religious leaders are framed with unjust gay plots. It just isn't fair...He was working to bring truth about God to the everyday family...fighting to prevent the evil gay morals from overtaking our society...

Actually, I'm just kidding. God probably had enough of his hatred and is now having his way with him...Poor dumb Rev. Haggard...

When I was 12 I had the unfortunate experience of living at a Evangelical Pentecostal Holiness Camp for 1 year. Personal experience with Evangelical Christians has taught me that many of them have problems with 1. Sex ; 2. Gossip and 3. Overeating -and not necessarily in that order. With regard to the sex thing it has always seemed to me that they spend so much time repressing their own sexual desires that it ends up being manifested in bizarre, interesting ways....I'm talking pedophelia, group sex and even incest....as far as Rev. Haggard is concerned well, I don't think he is any different than any other non-Christian homophobe - the harder you have to fight it and preach against it - ---to me it just means that you really want it and are banging against the closet door to come on out. Ya know, the ol "thou doth protest too much", thing.
If you've seen his denial video its interesting that he is shaking his head no while he is saying that he has always been faithful to his wife, etc. A tell-tale sign of lying is the head shaking being out of synch with what is coming out of the mouth....in this instance, head - negative, words positive....oh well, judge not that ye be not judged right? God loves hypocrites as much as she/he loves all of us.

Reverend Haggard

Well, well ... it's very interesting that the hypocritical Reverend Haggard is now admitting that he used crystal meth and had a massage with a male prostitute. The truth is finally coming OUT ... a little at a time. So much for being the big preacher man scaring the devil away.

If Haggard was smart, he would just admit to everything before it all gets spilled everywhere, with the emails and whatever else the prostitute has.

It never fails to amaze me how these fundies can preach about sin in everybody else's life, but yet it's OK for them do whatever they want -- just as long as they keep it quiet and say a little prayer afterwards. And just as interesting how the fundies went on forever about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, and now one of their very own, one of their most prominent evangelical preachers, is guilty of what they would consider to be an abomination (don't you love that word!)

I think its so sad how many gay folks hide behind the iron curtain of hate of the Church.
