People act a lot stranger when they can just express all their emotions, real or feigned, to a non-emoting computer screen. Some revel in the act of being weird or bizarre.
I like to maintain that they can't all be this weird. I hope they're acting. If not, well, that's kind of sad.

I think it has more to do with a lack of common sense. In most cases the intelligence level is obvious. I wouldn't hang out with most people from this site. If stupidity were a virtue, then this site would be virtuous.

Yep. Lots of weird people here. Like me. But I'm actually proud of my weirdness. (Is that even a word? Guess it is now;)) It's just part of who I am. If I were ever to be "normal", I don't think I'd be able to live with myself.
