Hi there,
It seems you have spyware on your system. Run a good Anti-spyware software. If not available use one which comes with Yahoo! toolbar. (It really works good: Personal experience)
If it doesn't fix your issue, then search for "main.html" files on your system and rename them to main.old and restart your system.
Also update your windows for applicable security patches.
This should work...

You have a broswer hijacker. Use these free scans
All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.
Try this scan, its free, it removes
I-Worm/Stration · BackDoor.Generic3.GBB and .GBC · Worm/Generic.FX · Exploit.WMF

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

Click your start button. At the top of that you will find your browser click it. This should then show you your homepage. When you get your home page you will see right under your search button several blue words one of them is "set as homepage" click on it and follow the instructions. Also right click on your home page and set up a short cut icon so that every time you connect all you have to do is click it and your homepage will appear. Alot of times you can connect to the internet and still have to click an icon for your homepage. So, it is safer to have a short cut (icon). Then you never have to worry about whether you can get on your homepage. As for the virus scanner if you do not want it to bother you anymore right click it then left click delete.

Frequently, when I encounter a problem like that, there's a virus. Sad to say, but adwares and spywares do things like that. Try to scan the computer. If it doesn't, just try to change the homepage option: TOOLS>>>Internet Options>>>input the homepage you want.

This nasty little set of apps has apparently changed recently. I found many references on how to clean it that no longer work.
This is a particularly nasty virus/trojan/malware that tries to hijack IE as well as trying to sell you a spyware killer. It attempts to load (re)load itself from 85.255.118.243. (iesecurepage.com) If the web site is blocked on your router, and the problem is not cleaned off of your PC, then IE will crash with a blank white screen upon startup.
The main portion of these apps (many small ones that apparently work both together and separately) resided in c:/ProgramFiles/ivideocodec. It also installed parts of itself as legitimate looking applications that could be uninstalled from the control panel, but then re-installed themselves if left unchecked. There were also .dll's and registry entries that were made to look like they were part of other legit apps. (they contained "isa" and "video" in their names. Another symptom is that it shows up as "warning icons" in the systray that tell you that there is a trojan or virus on your system. Spybot, Adaware, and Hijackthis will not clean it by themselves. The most nagging symptom is that it sets your homepage to iesecurepage.com, even though the /Tools/InternetOptions config says otherwise. Registry edits, recommended on the web, did not fix the problem either.
Good luck if you run into it. It is a difficult one to get rid of. After un-installing the apps, I had to reboot into safe mode, run the spyware and virus killers, and then delete the files in c:/programfiles/ivideocodec. I then had to make the c:/programfiles/ivideocodec folder "read only" to prevent it from re-installing itself. This leads me to believe that there is still a piece of this that I missed, but at least I was able to stop it.

My PC also got infected with this scumware. I used Spybot S&D, AVG Anti Spyware, Adaware and numerous others. No joy! I tried a lot of the answers I could find on the various forums but it wouldn't shift.
I eventually used SuperAntiSpyware (which is free for 15 days) and lo and behold the problem was solved.
How do firms like "iesecurepage" get away with it? Why can't they be closed down?

Your browser has been 'Hijacked'. While downloading software's, always read everything it says during installation. Well, to change the home page, go to options>general>homepage and change it to your desired site. As you have not mentioned your browser, please go to this site and select your browser and click on 'My web browser has been hijacked.' and follow the steps.

It appears your computer is infected with spyware. This type of spyware hijacks your Internet Explorer default homepage setting and redirects you to a site asking you to purchase a spyware program.
Try downloading and running AdAware to try and remove the spyware. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
