I love the way the angry feiminists jump to the conclusion you are at home watching it getting wet. Perhaps you too are at work finding a cure for world poverty and disease.....
As someone said women love to complain.
Call her and tell her you love her instead. The washing is not important

If you were my man and you called me to say that it was raining and the wash was still on the line, I would beat you like a junkyard dog when I got home and your belongings would be laying out in the front yard soon after!!!!
Get your butt out there and bring in the clothes, you panty-waist manby pamby!!!!!

No, leave it. The rain will eventually stop and the washing will dry again. It's only water.

No pull the curtains to, and make out you did'nt know it was raining, phoning her at work is risky, it would be easy for her to say you will have to get it in.

Get the clothes in hurry! If you waited too long go get the clothes in and re-wash them and then throw them in the dryer. Why did you need help with that?

No, No, No - don't phone her give her a lovely surprise. Get the washing in - give it a spin - then pop it in the drier and get it all neatly sorted.
She wont believe you did that for her and it will make her weekend. Who knows how she will reward you!!!!!

What do you expect her to do with wet clothes anyway? Leave them there to dry because the rain won't last forever.

I can see why you listed this under Marriage & Divorce, or is that just Divorce
PS. It'll be OK, it's not raining here.
