I think it's from one of the earlier Treehouse of Horror episodes.
There's a knock on the Simpson's door, they answer it, the head falls off (can't remember why) and then Ned's head pops up through the collar to show that it was a costume.
I ask because I was given an animation cell of this scene, but couldn't place the exact episode from memory.

M & M candy: Sure, 'cuz M stands for Moron. That's me! 8. scarecrow: Yeah, if I only had a brain (get it? from the Wizard of Oz?) 9. Elton John: Nope, don't have any stylish glasses. 10. zombie: Sure; ROB Zombie. That would scare anybody.

I think it was the fourth season but i'm not sure i've got that one on dvd (treehouse of horror series) i'll check it after work and get back online to tell ya the title!
