I think it was well crafted. The blood and gore didn't take away a bit of the story. I was impressed with the way that Jigsaw was still holding strong until the very end of the movie. I like that he was explaining more of what his motivation was since he was without choices and wanted life back. It didn't seem so much like a desperate man as it did a man trying to do some extreme enlightenment in a world where 1 and 2 year olds are numbed to murder and theft from video games that they use as a source of their own reality. I am not against games, but come on, wouldn't a child be better served if they were outside playing in stead of 8-10 hours in front of the TV? But, Saw 3, it was great. If horror movies could get and Oscar, this one would. It is worth the money. Remember, The Passion of the Christ? Why dilute the story to make it more viewable? It all had a point.

I really enjoyed Saw 1, Saw 2 not so much. Can't bring myself to see Saw 3 at the movies rather hide behind a cushion at home then I don't need to keep looking over my back to see if anything creepy is behind me - how sad. Is it just as gripping as Saw 1 cos that is why I liked it so much not too much blood and guts!!!

You should start out with Saw 1. If you see Saw 1 and you want to see Saw 2 then you should. I wouldn't see Saw 3 unless I already saw Saw 1 and Saw 2. If you see Saw 1 and you want to see Saw 3 first see Saw 2.
I hate gory movies so I would not see Saw 1,2 or 3.
I haven't seen and of them.

Liked the first. The second was silly and I wholly agree with your opinion of Saw3.
