I don't get why people ask questions here, when it 'costs' them????

you get 3 back for picking best answer, and then 2 for answering a question so it really isn't a big deal, PLUS, what would you answer if no one asked, PLUS, guess what. The points are pointless.

It may cost to ask a question but answering three questions earns you back those points and more. If someone has a question that they really need help with they can ask it here and they know that it will most likely be answered.

Each question costs 5 points. The more questions you answer-good or bad-the more points you get. So you ask one question and answer 2-3 questions to get points back.

For Fun that's why I ask Questions, it's not so much as how many points I can get but don't get me wrong I like getting more points so I can ask more and answer more each level but I figure I'll get there whenever cuz I'm all about just having fun

I dont get why even though you understand the fact that you lose points for asking questions, you still asked a question about not understanding why people ask questions if you lose points.

A lot of times they ask just to get attention, but when you answer them you earn 2 points. Like I have just done.

its because if u really need something or its an emeregency, there are so many people in the world and on YAHOO, u are bond to get an answer eventually! and what else are u going to use the points for? and i'm not being smart alecky, but your are talking about wasting points when u just did!

ask a question -5 give best answer for that question +3 ,answer 1 question +2 break even
