Food. I know that my dinner isn't going to betray me and break my heart (it could do my guts some damage though if I don't cook it right!)
I guess it depends on exactly what kind of sex you're talking about, I'd be pretty miserable without any sort of sex life (hurrah for self-love!) but at this point I'd rather be eating something delicious than having a bit of the good old penis in vagina action.
I do find food immensely pleasurable, but even discounting that I'd be dead if I didn't have regular access to food, whereas I've survived for 23 years with no sex at all in 21 of them.

Food. Sex just seems completely useless to me unless you are intentionally trying to produce children. Food keeps you alive. Contact with others via touch, not so much. It is quite repulsive in my eyes. Opinion/rant over.

This is probably a myth, but I heard somewhere that if you offered a man who'd been in the desert for a week the choice of a naked female or a glass of water he'd opt for the female first, as the basic instinct of 'survival of the spieces' overrides the basic instinct of 'survival of the individual'. I have absolutely no proof of this whatsoever mind.
