I have wanted a baby for a few months now, but this month is the first month i have actually tried to get pregnant. I have been taking pills to help with the balancing of my hormones and things like that since I was on BC. I have been off of BC for about 8 months now.

Anyway... i would have conceived about 1-2 weeks ago. My period started on Oct. 18th. Well about 2 days ago, my breasts have been really sore. It's not PMS or anything because I'm not even due for my period yet. The only thing is my boobs are sore and i am really tired. I know its different for everyone.. some people get signs right when they conceive and others not until a while. But is it really too soon for my breasts to be sore? Could I possibly be pregnant?

you're right...timing wise it is a little early to be experiencing such symptoms, but you could most definately be pregnant.

of course your sore breasts and fatigue could be entirely unrelated to pregnancy, and you could be pregnant anyway.

the best thing to do right now is to continue attempting to conceive (if that's what you want, of course), but behave as though you ARE pregnant...no drinking, no smoking, eating extra healthy, all that stuff you probably know about anyway.

wait until your period is due, and if you don't get it by the 2nd day, go ahead and take a pregnancy test, at home tests are ninety-something % accurate when taken the first day of a missed period.

you'll know soon enough, but stressing about it is only going to make things harder for you, your body & your baby, so try to relax and stay calm about everything.

if you're not pregnant, don't despair, keep trying, most women don't get pregnant the first month they try anyway.

oh, and if you feel extra tired, give in to your body's wants and take a nap during the day, or get a couple extra hours of sleep at night, your body might be fighting off a small infection that you don't realize you have...this could also cause sore or swollen breasts...sometimes things are totally unrelated, but if you let your body get extra sleep and vitamins then it'll be able to fight off infection faster, and be able to take care of your baby (or ready itself to conceive a baby) much easier.

Good luck, I hope this helps!
