Why did mister Echo have to die?
I liked him, he was one of my favorite characters.

The creators have every season and every person's background planned out. They knew ahead of time who's dying and when. But it might also be because some people didn't like the second season and the only tailie now left is Bernard and he isn't even a season regular. Plus, this makes Eko the first of the survivors to be killed by the monster which we got to see a LOT more of.

I dont know, but i liked him too. Hopefully they will bring him back as a spirit or in the past lives parts. Who knows with Lost....

it's the whole mystery of the island, we will have to wait and see if he comes back from the dead...maybe not...but I agree, I liked him too.
