aphrodisiac - something that makes you 'amorous'. Named after Aphrodite, the (greek?) goddess of love.

Commonly Oysters are considered to be an aphrodisiac... I'm sure that nowadays you might say viagra was one... but not sure it's quite what Aphrodite intended!
