i think some of their songs are political. But most of the time they write about things that has happened in the world. Like the song BYOB that song is about a war in the desert. Its not bad to be a political band it just shows you that some people care about their world.

Well, first you have to understand their lyrics, good luck on that. They definitely won't help their fans, I saw them on TV and they said a fan asked them about the meaning of their lyrics and the group asked the body guards to **** him up.
Get your politics info from a more reliable source they are not right, just funny.
P.S. I used to be a fan until I saw them on SNL and realized they are a studio band. Sorry.

I wouldn't call them a political band, but they do have politically charged songs at times. "Why don't presidents fight the war, why do they always send the poor?"

Yes, I think they are. I also think their politics are pretty much right on as long as they keep a positive slant towards the people and whats going on with the good ole' USof A.

I think so. If u really listen to a lot of their songs there is some polictical backround to it. A lot of people just dont realize what most of their music is about.

If you think speaking the truth is political, than I guess yes. But in my opinion they aren't.
