Don't know where you are sending this from but...
I'm in Florida, USA. I ride an H-D FXDWG. I wear mostly leather, and a white half shell. I ride from my "fairly" large city (for here) to my folks in the boonies, about 30 miles away, every weekend. I carry my laundry in duffel bag on the fender rack.
Since 9/11 I have been pulled over so many times, for the stupidest reasons. I have a bomb in bag, or biohazard stuff. (Well, my laundry, a biohazard. Maybe. But only a local one.)
I'm an ex-law enforcement officer, both civilian and military. I let them play with me a while, then if they get stupid I tell them to call their supervisor.
Now the dumbest thing I have ever been given as an excuse by the cop was my headlight beam was going from high beam to low beam at "an uneven rate"! Duh! I said to Dudly Doo-Doo, the pavement ain't level! (Under my breath I was saying, you schmuck!)
They are out there. They don't have the sense the Lord gave a kumquat when it comes to bikes. If they have nothing better to do, they will pull you over.

I was pulled over once because the cop said I ran a stop sign. The only problem is, there was no stop sign. I even went back and rode the same route to be sure and there was no stop sign. Police harassment pure and simple.

The cop didn't like my lightly smoked license plate protective cover. He said "Somebody might not be able to see your numbers".
