Yes, I think it should be abolished. Although our legal system is a relatively good one, I'm sure we have put innocent people to death. Many proponents of the death penalty often say that citizens should not have to shoulder the financial burden of feeding and housing a criminal for the rest of his life, but the truth is that putting someone to death is even more expensive than keeping him alive.

Dear Friend, Why capital punishment should be abolished? Most of the peoples thought that Death sentence Could not gave the permanent solution for crime. But death punishments great examples for crime acquits. This kind of punishments they never do the same mistakes. U imagine that without death punishment, What kind of punishment we will give that silly ediate crime acquits. Apsal guru planned attack the Indian Parliament. How we can call to that person is innocent? So, Capital punishments should be done Public Places. This kind of activities only threatening the acquites, they never do the same mistake.

I think capital punishment is bad for society, and it is totally biased toward the wealthy and white people. Almost all people who receive a capital sentence are poor and most are black and hispanic. If you have the money to pay a good lawyer, you don't get the death penalty. For this reason, I think it should be abolished.

No, it should be used more often. Case in point: In this area an ex-con murdered a 16 year old girl. He had just got out of prison where he served 25 years for the death of a 5 year old. Isn't that wonderful? If this maniac had been put to death back then, this 16 year old would still be alive!

I strongly believe that the capital punishment should be abolished.
It is barbaric.
It is never enforced evenly.
In case of mistake it cannot be remedied.
It cost too much. In USA it cost millions of Dollars to give capital punishment. Life sentence does not cost as much.
It is nigher deterrent or rehabilitation.

No I do not. In fact I think public hangings should be brought back. You start hanging people and I believe crime would slow down...
