I have been sick since week six, I am not 8 weeks. I am nauseated 24/7. I dont throw up though. For you that didnt throw up, how long did your morning sickness last? And also for you who did throw up how long did it last? Thanks

Sometimes from day one until the beginning of the first trimester; sometimes if you have gone too long without eating or enviroment is too hot ; generally it depends on the person and the pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different and so can the symptoms of different individuals - your body is adjusting or trying to adjust to all the hormone changes; it will pass ; just think - you are going to have a beautiful baby and you won't know how you ever lived without him/her. Ask your doctor about it b/c there is medication that he can give you if it is too much and your are not getting the nourishment that you need. It is more than worth it. Hang in there and Congratulations !!!!

I started getting nauseous from the third week of pregnancy, which is why I went to get a pregancy test done. It lasted until about 16 weeks. I threw up at least twice daily the entire time and lost 25 pounds. I knew the pattern on the bathroom floor at my house, my office, and the first thing that I would look for when I went somewhere was the bathroom.

It depends on the person. Usually morning sickness will happen within the first 3-4 months of the pregnancy. After that many women may not expeirence morning sickness.

Mine started at six weeks for both of my pregnancies. My first one I had just nausea no vomiting and the second and current one I did have vomiting as well as the nausea (it was a worse morning sickness) and the morning sickness with both pregnancies last till about the thirteenth or fourteenth week.

For my first 2 pregnancies the nausea lasted 10 weeks. I threw up once with my first and not at all with my 2nd. This pregnancy the nausea lasted until week 14!! But I only threw up once. With my first the nausea was really, really bad even though I only threw up once, which makes me think I am having another boy.

Never take your prenatal vitamins before breakfast. You will be throwing up everywhere. Eat first. My morning sickness only happened about 3 times and that was around my first semester.

1st time: whole 9 months
2nd time: about 5 months
3rd time: about 3 months
I drank Sprite and ate Saltines with my 1st & 2nd but it was too sweet during my 3rd; so for the 3rd I drank 7-Up.
The Pre-natal vitamins will sometimes make the nausea worse, if this happens, take it a bedtime. It made a world of difference for me.
