I mean, they say these terms o conduct are for their constituents, but really? whom are they protecting with this code of suppression?

They are likely trying to keep this from being a sex chat or place where people go to meet other people and talk dirty, racist and violent.
This way there can be some intelligent conversation and questions without the filth getting in the way.
There is a time and a place for filth and this is not it.
