When I was nine years old, I went to an activity gathering. I was surprised the cut off age for hunting eggs at the gathering was eight. I had just turned nine, and I didn't know I was growing up so soon. When do u think a child is too old to hunt for eggs"

As long as they are still having fun, having it at home is fine! When it is a community egg hunt with small children, they usually limit the age to limit the number of children and allow the small children to actually find eggs. The older children are a lot more competitive. Sometimes they have a separate hunt for older children instead of excluding them.

When they stop enjoying it, and not a minute sooner.

I think sometimes organized activities have age cutoffs so that the older kids don't beat all the little kids to the eggs. It's not because they're too old, it's to keep it fair.

Maybe older kids can have a separate egg hunt, at your house.

I would figure about 12 or 13, when they themselves decide it's no longer fun. It wouldn't be such a big deal if community egg hunts designated groups by age. It's hardly fair for 5 year olds up against 16 year olds who take the goods and leave nothing for the little guys.

My 1st son replaced right into a million a million/2. as long as he have been given a million egg he did no longer care (so perhaps I saved one for him). lol He in basic terms theory it replaced into exciting to be there. This year i'm adorning eggs the day previously and we will have an egg hunt on Easter at my abode (in basic terms my 2 boys and in all probability the friends 2 babies. various eggs for 4 babies. everybody's going to have various eggs and candies. :-)

I think that any age would be fine just because some people never give up their spirit in easter but when they are older they will just give it up on their own.
