people voted for him because Rove is a genius PR man. Rove morphed a spoiled silver spoon rich man's brat from the the North East into born again good ol' boy from Texas. folks like to believe what they think they see and what they thought they saw was a down home bubba like themselves, someone they'd like to share a beer with, who praises Jesus and agrees with all their moral issues. someone who cares about them, their safety and their family values. but what they got was duped. what they got was a barely articulate fear monger who manipulates them for his own self aggrandizement. a liar who wears Jesus like a beauty queen's sash as he sends their children off to die and be maimed in an unnecessary unwinnable endless war for profit. and what's really sad is many still won't admit that they've been neoCONNED so they continue to support a cabal of criminals whose only interest in holding office is to pander to themselves and their war profiteering cronies.

1. As governor of Texas Bush was able to work with both "sides of the aisle" in the Texas legislature. I believed he could do the same with Congress.
2. Although he never held any federal position, Bush surrounded himself with cabinet members and advisors "in the know."
3. Come to think of it, I voted for an independent last time around.

I agree with bubba I voted against Gore and then I voted against Kerry because he really is wishy washy and I did not want to leave the Iraqi people like we did after the gulf war. We caused the war and we can't bail til they have a stable gov. I'm really hoping that that is soon. But I wish we would not have gone but now that we have we are obliged to finish what we started. Would I have voted for Bush the first time if I knew we would invade Iraq? No, then I would have voted for Gore.

Because Bush came out with an actual platform and set of priorities. All of Kerry's rhetoric could be summed up as vote for me because I am not George Bush. I need a better reason that that.

We won't be a free country until all people are cut off economically from their parents at age 18. Aristocracy grows and spreads like a cancer. It had reached an ability to control people's minds by the time his voters were originally brainwashed. "Support the rich, they are our Masters," has become embedded in the American mind.

George W. Bush is a born-again Christian...
I believe that human society is headed toward a culminating battle of good vs. evil. It's important to consider this as a viable take on reality, and to consider which "side" one might want to be on. To take it a step further, I also believe that Islam is a religion
created by Satan unto himself (aka "Allah"). Whether it's politically correct or not, this may be truth. If it is, then it is imperative that our leaders be in tune with the Creator of our Universe; our existence as we know it may be more threatened than we realize.... At the risk of sounding like a Bible-thumper, please consider the claims of Christ; He is either telling the truth or the biggest liar that ever lived. You decide....

I like him. I thought he would be a fiscal conservative. He's not, but it's hard to be when you're fighting wars and have crap like Katrina on your watch.
He has good moral character, and he's been a good, strong wartime President. And, as shown by comments in the last 6 months, he's capable of learning and moving in a different direction if needed.

He is a strong leader who is not afraid to bomb countries or go after terrorists with the full force of the US military. It gives the impression we are safer against some very nasty scumbags.
(That is what I've been told. I didn't vote for him myself.)
