1. Jo and Meg meet Laurie at the dance.
2. Their father gets hurt in the war and Marmee has to leave to go to him, leaving the girls all alone.
3. Amy burns Jo's novel she's been working on because she wouldn't let her come ice-skating.
4. Beth gets sick but is able to be nursed back to health.
5. Meg marries John.
6. Jo cuts and sells her hair to get money for the family.
7. Beth gets sick again and dies this time.
8. Amy takes over for Jo at Aunt March's house, and subsequently gets to go to Paris with her.
9. Amy and Laurie fall in love.
10. Jo becomes a governess at a house and meets a writer with whom she falls in love.
