My friend asked me if she could go out with her/my ex. Yes we went out with the same guy. Any ways, she asked me and i told her she could go out with him i don't care. Then she started arguing saying things like "are you sure" and "I know that sometimes friends dating other friends ex's can be hard" It couldn't of been me going out with him after she did because i wasn't her friend at the time. So was i supposed to say no?

no it sound like to me that she was just trying to make really sure it was OK because sometimes that is a problem for a lot of people and she did not want it to affect your friendship/// sounds like a great friend to me

Yes, you did the right thing. And for the record, there's an unwritten rule that says friends don't date ex boy friends. Thats just wrong. I'd keep an eye on that girl.

If it doesn't bother you, no, you shouldn't have lied and said, "no." I mean, why would you lie to your friend?
Probably she just wanted to really make sure that it wasn't going to cause problems for the two of you. That you weren't just telling her 'yes' because you are her friend.
I am sure everything will be fine if you really don't care!

your first mistake was liking the same boy that your friend liked

but to answer your question, your friend was good to come and ask if it was okay with you. if it was ok for you and you really didnt care, then it was okay to tell her to go ahead. but it sounds like its not okay to you and you do care, and you care a lot as well. you should talk to her about it, but dont start holding grudges, cuz its not her fault
