We always say I want a good man. What's the definition of a good man?

a good man is someone that doesn't mind working to earn a living he won't lead you on or use you he will be honest and love you for you not what you look like or what you have he will not call you names or pick fights with you he will respect you and stand by you no matter how tough it gets he will compromise with you but it makes him an even better man if the woman is also a good woman and treats him right also it takes two to make it work have a good evening

My definition of a good man is someone who treats you and your family with the utmost respect at all times, supports and believes in you even if he doesn't feel the same way about something as you and someone you can trust your life with.

I have had so many boyfriends and a lot of them were okay. But my current boyfriend is a good man. He knows how to treat me right and believes in me. I honestly would now know what a good man if I saw one, but just trust your gut. My boyfriend and I have been together for 9mths now. We may have had our struggles, but way make it through. He stands by me and believes in me. I believe that is a good man. He also supports me and helps me through tough times. He is just a great guy. He is a good man and I believe that is a good man.

My definition of a good man, is a man that is...
Honest, trustworthy, faithful, respectful to you and your family, attentive to your needs, dependable, not physically or verbally abusive, considerate, loving, kind, takes care of his financial responsibilities, independent and have goals for his life.
Everyone's definition may vary as to what they want from a relationship.

Well. You know what "they" say: "A good man is hard to find." BUT they ARE out there! For me a good man is honest, intelligent, gentle, kind, respectful, loving, responsible, has a sense of humor and commitment and, as much as it's possible in this insane world, tries to be open-minded, tolerant and unprejudiced (so, for example, non-racist/sexist/ageist). Drop dead looks and lots of money are far, far less important than character!

You have to figure out what the definition of a good man means to you.
These things can take time, but evert time I go out I am able to add to my list of what I want in a man.
Can't find it till you know what it is...

Everyone's answer will be different, because all ppl are different.
Everyone wants a man, that they can be friends and lovers with, who will confide in them, and likewise let us confide to them. Someone to hold us, cuddle us, keep us safe. Who will stand up for us in a fight, but yet, is not afraid to cry. We want a man who will tell us his feelings, and not expect us to read his mind. Who will share in the household duties, not just assume its the womans' place in society. Overall we want a man who can be our everything, our best friend, our lover, our soulmate, a father to kids, a brother to all, and knows the meaning of respect and honesty. :)

that would be different for every girl i think because i think a good man for a girl would be that he would treat her the way she wants to be treated so every good man would be different
