how would you compare How the Grinch stole Christmas movie from its book?

For english, I have to compre the book to its movie and I dont know where to start. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Read the book then watch the movie. For good measure, also watch the cartoon with Boris Karloff doing the voice of the Grinch. Start with the book so that you will have the original to make comparisons against.
